Let This Be a Lesson

Mom: "Will, stay here while I get the stroller."

Will: "No thanks, Mom. I think I'd rather go for a quick run on the cement sidewalk in my winter coat that is too big for me and whose sleeves cover up my hands, rendering my arms useless."

Result: (I've circled in red the important area.)

Anna, let this be a lesson to you. Please learn from your older brother's example. When Mom says to stay put for a couple seconds, try staying put. Sometimes Mom says things that really are worthwhile to listen to.

Meal Time

The kids are getting more adept at eating with utensils, thus making meal times MUCH cleaner and enjoyable for Mom.

These kids amaze me! They learn so quickly and try so hard to do things for themselves. What big kids!

Playing Football

It was really nice outside the other day, so we took the kids out for some exercise. Will got a plush football for Christmas, and we've been practicing his quarterback skills since then. He demonstrates those skills in this clip.
Not to be outdone, Anna has also picked up some throwing skills. Here she is showing off hers.
